Mechanical contracting can vary from supplying a qualified welder for a few hours, to undertaking the piping work and its associated components for multimillion dollar projects.
There is no typical project. This work can involve stainless steel piping for a food grade project, carbon steel piping for an ethanol project, or plastic piping for water distribution.
Work on these projects cannot be undertaken without all of the necessary regulatory requirements in place. Nortuk possesses the widely differing labour qualifications, techniques, procedures,
training and government certifications required for each job. These include, but are not limited to registration with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB), Technical Standards and Safety Act (TSSA) and the Ontario Petroleum Contractors Association (OPCA).
